I joined Henry Schein 6 years ago as a Field Sales Consultant. Three years ago, I was hired by Eric Nuss to join the Business Solutions team as the first Business Consulting Specialist, and have since grown with the team to manage the Midwestern area. I am driven by the passion to help our dental customers, the challenge to get them to think proactively about the future, and the ability to provide them with resources that may help them achieve their personal and professional goals.

Persistence and Attentiveness to My Customers
Dr. Gregg Svoma was one of the first customers that I was able to convert when I started as an FSC. Dr. Svoma hadn’t had a particularly strong relationship with any dental supply partner, but had been working with Patterson for 5 years prior to Henry Schein. Dr. Svoma admired my persistence to stop by once a week after he jokingly said that if I came around more often than his Patterson rep, he would be able to give me more orders.
As a result of my persistence, sincerity, and tenacity, I was able to successfully convert Dr. Svoma to a full Henry Schein customer. At the onset, however, Dr. Svoma perceived me as nothing more than a supply rep. After multiple meetings to discuss various business solutions and strategy, he was still skeptical about Schein’s involvement. Fast forward to becoming a BCS two years later, my first meeting out in the field in my new role was again with Dr. Svoma and his new FSC Katelyn Looker. After reviewing a Practice Analysis, he voiced concerns about the practice location, and his inability to get out of his current dental office lease. Naturally, we recommended a consultation with Cirrus Consulting Group, but seeing as he was still hesitant, Katelyn conducted a phenomenal follow up. She was able to schedule the doctor a face-to-face lease review with a Cirrus Consultant when he was in Indiana co-traveling with the team. Finally, after going through a consultation and thorough lease review where Cirrus highlighted the pitfalls and problem areas, he was blown away and knew that Cirrus would provide the solution to what he needed.
A Total Solutions Provider
Dr. Svoma’s main concern was to set up a new strong lease agreement to protect his practice long term. Cirrus provided him with guidance and direction in regards to the lease agreement, and negotiated a fantastic lease agreement for the doctor. Dr. Svoma is now an extremely loyal Henry Schein customer, and looks to us as his total business solutions provider. We have also maintained a friendship where he jokes about how I should shake him if he doesn’t listen to what we are suggesting.
