About the Speakers
Tom Christensen, CPA, CA, Managing Partner, Dorward & Company
Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2004, a Masters of Professional Accounting in 2006, received his Chartered Accountant in 2008 and has worked in the Alberta business community during his education and ever since. He has been with Dorward & Company LLP since 2007, first as a Senior Accountant, then a Partner in 2009, and Managing Partner in 2012. In his 5 years as Managing Partner, the firm has doubled in size – all through organic growth – and Dorward & Company LLP was named a Profit 500 Company in 2017, the only CPA firm to make the list.
Tom started marketing to the medical and dental community in 2010 and since then has been involved in numerous acquisitions, sales, and reorganizations in the medical and dental space. He now has hundreds of professional clients and spends the majority of his time in this industry. Tom also provides advice on an ongoing basis to a few dozen high growth and high net worth companies which helps bring a fresh and creative perspective to the medical and dental space.
